Hey all! I'm still alive, and I figured I'd put up a new post and give my thoughts on "Ghostbusters: Afterlife" and the two animated cartoons that GB got back in the 80s and 90s. First off, Afterlife is absolutely beautiful. A fitting end to the story of the original team, a beautifully written love letter to the fans, and lastly, a wonderful tribute and send-off for Harold Ramis, who sadly never got to enjoy this film with his friends and family. I will try to avoid spoiling the film for those who haven't gone to see it yet, but it is absolutely stunning, surprising, and heart-wrenching. The ending had me crying, because it reminded me of my own grandpa, and how I never did have the courage to stay and say goodbye, because I never want to have to say that when I know someone isn't going to be there anymore. But in the end I'm left filled with the regret that I never did, and ultimately wishing I could spend one more moment with them, just to have a little closure. That's what makes
